ABOUT TIMUR ENOTE

Enote Pic.jpg

Timur Enote’s artworks are made in a pseudo-realistic manner, as the artist himself calls it. Color rendition, chiaroscuro and realistic accuracy notably animate his canvases. From mastering such technics as clay molding and carving on wood, Timur has learned to the features and properties of the surrounding reality grasp more sensitively and deeply. At the same time, the majority of the objects and characters in artist’s pieces are imaginary, they resemble heroes of fantasy films and video games, which Timur was fond of in his childhood.

Artist creates his own reality to diversify the real world, to make it less familiar and boring. This world harmoniously combines with existing objects and erases boundaries between two universes — real and artificial. According to Timur, "art world is like an ocean: some float on it, while others are just watching".
